Job description
Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, inspection, storage, picking, issuing, and dispatch of materials, spares, and equipment.
Coordinate transport, freight, and delivery schedules for inbound materials and outbound supplies to vessels, yards, and project sites.
Collaborate with strategic sourcing and buyers on material requirements, reorder points, lead times, expediting, and supplier performance feedback.
Implement, manage and monitor a Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) system.
Prepare inventory, logistics, and performance reports; identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
Minimum requirements
Diploma/N6 (preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field).
3 years of relevant experience in executing or overseeing the warehousing and logistics activities
Possesses a Code 10 and Code 14 drivers' license.
Possesses a forklift operators' certificate.
Experience in the Maritime industry will be advantageous.
Possession of a Dangerous goods certificate will be advantageous.
Is computer literate.
Has the ability to work under pressure.
Has the ability to work as part of a team.
Has strong SHE-Q awareness and compliance.
Is able to deliver results and meet client expectations.
