Introduction
We’re looking for a Graduate Trainee who is looking for the opportunity to gain practical work experience in all aspects of tanker and bunker barge operations.
Job description

Participate in developmental activities which will initially focus on acquiring basic knowledge while working under supervision. This will progress to working unsupervised, with broadening scope of knowledge.
Administration and reporting on tanker and bunker barge shore support operations.
Assist with scheduling of marine fuel deliveries by bunker barge or tanker without compromising on Safety, Health, Environmental Protection & Quality principles.
Develop an understanding of marine management and assurance processes related to operational activities, while supporting the team with various tasks and responsibilities.

Minimum requirements

Submit a CV with details of qualification(s), including year obtained.
Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a Nautical Science Degree
Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch Qualification and has served time on tankers during cadetship will be advantageous.
South African citizen with a valid driver's license.
Responsible and willing to participate as a member of the team.
Has high energy levels.
Flexible, willing to travel, and have an unwavering commitment to learning and development.
