Job description
Key performance areas:
Design, configure, and maintain on-premises and cloud infrastructure to ensure business continuity and efficiency.
Develop, enhance, and integrate core business systems, applications, and databases.
Lead the design and maintenance of internal software tools and automation frameworks.
Ensure compliance with data privacy laws (POPIA, GDPR) and cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001).
Provide Tier 2 and 3 technical support and mentor Systems Administrators and Technical Coordinators.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external service providers to ensure system uptime and performance.
Continuously improve IT service delivery through innovation and digital transformation initiatives.

Minimum requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
A National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in systems design, implementation, and support.
Strong technical background in systems architecture, security, and database management (SQL).
Proven analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to guide small technical teams.
Experience with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, ECM, Procurement, Maintenance or Crewing Systems) will be advantageous.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Suite, Power BI, Visio, SharePoint, and collaboration tools.
An understanding of ITIL processes and governance frameworks.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in systems design, implementation, and support.
Strong technical background in systems architecture, security, and database management (SQL).
