Job description
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards (SANS, DoL, IMCA, OGP, AMSOL).
Oversee planned maintenance and equipment readiness in line with IMCA, DoL, and manufacturer requirements.
Keep the SBM Ops database and Asset Register up to date.
Maintain accurate operational logbooks.
Manage and prepare all diving equipment, tools, and technical reports to ensure operational integrity.
Minimum requirements
Must be a South African citizen, qualified as a IMCA Dive Technician, and hold a recognized Technical Trade Qualification.
5-10 years as Dive Technician (e.g. Offshore, Harbor or Shipping) after trade test
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Computer literate (MS Excel).
A self-motivated individual who displays excellent initiative and problem-solving abilities.
Must be prepared to work irregular hours.
Has strong SHE-Q awareness and compliance.
Is able to deliver results and meet customer expectations.
Displays good leadership and company values.
