Job description
•Ensure effective running and organisation of the AMSOL warehouse.
•Develop, implement and maintain appropriate stock control systems.
•Ensure compliance to Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality (SHEQ) expectations.
•Monitor daily vessel movements to ensure logistical requirements are met.
•Set performance objectives for the warehouse team.
•Train, mentor and coach subordinates.
•Provide reports as required.
Minimum requirements
•Tertiary qualification in Logistics / Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory capacity.
•Strong awareness of SHE-Q and understanding of compliance.
•Good communication and interpersonal skills.
•Good leadership abilities and alignment to company values.
•Able to work under pressure and independently within a larger team.
•Able to plan, organize, control and manage.
•Able to make decisions, initiate action and deliver results to meet customer expectations.
•Understanding of importing and exporting of goods will be advantageous.
