Job description
• Implement centralised procurement in accordance with the company’s procurement policy and procedures.
•Tracking and evaluating supplier performance.
•Managing the supplier tendering process.
•Conducting supplier market research.
•Actively participating in SMME projects, workshops or other procurement initiatives.
•Tracking project savings.
•Monitoring contract compliance.
•Assisting with BBBEE (preferential procurement) audit assessments.
Minimum requirements
•Tertiary qualification in procurement / logistics or business management related field.
•Minimum 3 years experience in procurement.
•Knowledge of procurement processes and tools.
•Familiar with project management principles and able to plan, scope and execute work to be done in accordance with the strategic sourcing framework.
•Proficient in compiling and analysing data.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work under pressure and independently within a larger team.
•Ability to manage internal stakeholder requirements and expectations.
•Ability to make decisions, initiate action and deliver results to meet customer expectations.
