Job description
Perform all Dive Technician duties & maintenance of SBM and related equipment;
Ensure that all planned maintenance system are up to date;
Must be familiar and have experience with IMCA D 023; D 040 & D 018;
Fully conversant and with minimum 5 years experience diving systems certifications and testing
Adherence to all SHE-Q requirements;
Partake in tanker operations at the SBM including mooring, cargo discharge and unmooring activities
Minimum requirements
Preferred Class II Dive ticket;
Formal Dive Tech training Certificate (IMCA recognised)
Offshore (SHELL) experience of 1 year on Air Dive Systems similar to AMSOL Dive system
Certified KMB helmet Inspection and maintenance ticket;
Preferred Poseidon regulators Maintenance ticket;
Pass an approved medical in accordance with the international medical standards for Divers/Dive Techs;
Must have valid driver’s licence
Hold a valid offshore survival certificate;
Up to date IMCA diver’s and/or Dive Tech log book;
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal;
Demonstrate competency as required by IMCAC002.
Able to perform an unassisted D023 and D040
Computer literate (MS Excel);
A self-motivated individual who displays excellent initiative and problem solving abilities;
Ability to work independently and within a larger team environment;
Must be prepared to work irregular hours;
Has strong SHE-Q awareness and compliance;
Is able to deliver results and meet customer expectations;
Displays good leadership and company values;
Must have a appropriate trade.
