Job description
Underwater inspection, repair and maintenance of the Offshore Mooring Buoy, Underwater Hoses and Pipeline.
Carrying out diving duties in accordance with company, client and contract requirements.
Ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with legislation, company procedures, international best practice and client requirements.
Assisting in managing and maintaining all diving, life support and related equipment.
Participating in the creation and maintenance of diving procedures and HIRAs.
Submitting reports, registers and logs accurately and timeously.
Maintaining good communication with the diving operation management team.
Participating in Tanker Operations as a Tanker Team member.
Minimum requirements
Is qualified as a South African, Class II Offshore Air Diver.
Has at least 2 years diving experience.
Holds a valid diving medical certificate.
Holds a valid drivers licence, with own transport.
Has effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Is computer literate (MS Excel).
Is a self-motivated individual who displays excellent initiative-taking and problem-solving abilities.
Valid DMT will be previred.
Has a proven ability to work independently within a larger team environment.
Must be prepared to work irregular hours.
